With the semester starting, the first grad students are rotating in the lab, we participated in the symposium for the 20th Anniversary of the Kavli Institute for Neuroscience at Yale, and had a surprise “non-celebration” for Emilia’s birthday ;)
August 2024 - Goodbye to our BP-ENDURE and Pathways interns
The end of Summer is always a bittersweet moment, especially when we have to say goodbye to our amazing summer interns: Ahilya from the Pathways Program and Bryanna from the BP-ENDURE program.

April 2024 — Eclipse and cute lab moments!

March 2024 — Lab move!
We finally moved to our final location! Ok, it’s a partial move and we will still do some work in the old building, but we are getting there!
Here’s the lab crew in the empty lab after spending our morning packing and… our new shiny lab space. We were so fast settling down. Exciting!
February 2024 — Defining Lab Values
This month, we worked together on something foundational for the lab: we all sat for one evening (with some bubble tea) and had an exchange about the core values that each of us needs to be happy in the lab, we gave examples and ultimately agreed on the 6 “lab core values” below. We also made a word cloud of all the values mentioned so that everyone is represented (on the right).
